To counter the tendency that many of us have of slouching over (at our desk, computer, etc), watch this quick video clip from our television show, Guru2Go. On the show, we spent a little time "walking a mile" in the nurses shoes, so to speak. We found that they were constantly hunching over patients and computers, causing tension in their backs and energetically closing off their hearts.
Though their schedules were extremely busy, they made time with us and we shared a quick, easy stretch that they could do in the middle of their busy day – to counter the effects of hunching over patients and workstations all day long.
Do this quick posture along with the video, and see if you find that you can take a deeper breath right away.
