Tutorial
From this position, release your arms and bring your hands, palms facing each other, down along the side of your body (a few inches from the ground).
To begin, extend your left leg straight out, parallel to the ground.
In a fluid continuous motion, bring the left knee back in toward your chest while simultaneously switching legs, extending your right leg out all the way out.
Move continuously, like you are bicycling, for 3-5 minutes, breathing deeply through your nose. To end, rest your legs extended along the ground, bring your hands to your sides, palms facing up, and close your eyes – breathing fully to your navel center and feeling the effects of this exercise. On the inhale, let the belly expand like a water balloon, and on the exhale, press down gently toward the spine.
Pointers This is a great low-impact workout, but if you have any back issues (injuries, pain, etc), bring your hands into fists and place them under your buttocks to support your lower back while moving in this posture.
