Fruits are one of the healthiest, natural foods in existence. There are thousands of different types available each season, offering you a seemingly endless supply of options. Cantaloupe has over 100% of our daily requirements for vitamin C. Not only does this nutrient help your immune system fight off infection, it's going to reduce your risk of death from heart disease, cancer, and stroke.

Cantaloupe in particular is an excellent source of vitamin A and beta-carotene, both important nutrients for your vision. One study showed that women who consumed high amounts of vitamin A reduced their chances of getting cataracts by 39%.

1 small organic cantaloupe, seeds removed, peeled, sliced and cubed
1 organic apple, cored and sliced
1 cup organic red grapes, washed and halved
2 organic clementines, peeled and sliced
1 organic lemon, zested and juiced

Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl. Serve alone, with your morning oatmeal or cereal, or with yogurt and granola. Keep refrigerated up to 1 day.
